The unit tends to leak through pinholes which are due to impurity of copper tube material from cheap production country. The oil, a part of Freon makes most plastics parts brittle and replace indoor unit. This situation is a subject of recall, however, the company avoids ruining the company name offering free replacement parts for long period. I have repair three pin holes in one indoor unit. I purchased this unit as a replacement for an older unit of another brand. The difference is stunning. It is SUPER quiet and yet extremely efficient. I would highly recommend this system.
