Noritz Replacement Heater Dec 14, 2016

i installed two of these in 2008. had to replace one after 6 years the other after 8 years. the only reason i replaced with Noritz was the supposed ease of replacement with the same heater i.e. all piping was supposed to line up...NOT SO! I had to redo piping which cost me an additional $200 because the piping did not line up with original heater. Also i should have been able to get a longer life with original heaters.

Have used Runtal UF series before and the quality is excellent. Now if they could sneak more BTUs per foot.

I have used this product before. I would not do a shower using any other product. You spend a lot of time and $ doing a new shower, you should do it right. With this, I know everything is sloped properly, the products fit together and it will be waterproof. We used the shower for a few weeks while tile was on its way last time as the shower is watertight, even without tile.

As winter approaches, the last thing you want to fail is your home's heating system, especially just before the holidays. Buying a large ticket item online can be very scary - not this time. The unit was in stock, shipped as promised (for free!), priced very competitively, and installed by my local contractor. All the features exceeded similar units in the same BTU category. Even the installer commented that Goodman makes an exceptional product for the price.
