I have had this Panasonic Dual Zone CU-2E18/CS-E12x2 for over 2 years now. I am pleased overall but would offer a few tips: - My application is primarily for heating, and I am in a location where temps can dip below zero. The unit does a surprising job of heating down to 5 degrees F, but after that will drop off significantly, and eventually shut itself off around zero. I live in central California with evaporative cooling. I'm using this fan to vent out the hot air. The QuietCool replaced a simple department store unit and the difference is amazing. With much higher air flow, the whole house stays cooler. It's not a quiet fan, but it's 10 times quieter than any other fan with anywhere near the same air flow. I only wish I had found out about this unit years ago!

After waiting 26 days to get my Effinity 93 110000 btu unit, I installed it only to find out the propeller fan was very noisy. It is louder than my air compressor. Modine will not honor the warranty unless you use a professional installer. If you are a do it yourselfer, don't buy this unit. The propeller motor is cheap and creates a lot of vibration noise.
