I bought this in-line fan to pump warm air into a chase containing hot and cold water pipes. When outdoor temperatures drop below 15 degrees Fahrenheit, the air in the chase falls below freezing, so I was worried that the pipes would freeze. Heats Well But Controls Bad Sep 08, 2016

I live in the Colorado mountains and we needed to replace the electric heaters in our bedroom. This heater heats great, but it will not heat to temps below 60 degrees. We like the bedroom air temp cool summer and winter. The controls have 2 timers you can program, but the lowest temp you can program is 60 degrees. That makes no sense. Every thermostat I have seen goes a lot cooler. There is a set back control that goes a lot cooler, but it is totally manual. either on or off.

My wife likes the house at 77 Deg. and my son likes 70 Deg. in his room so I decided to purchase a Mitsubishi 9000 BTU mini split. The unit arrived as promised and was well packed. The long cable duct was missing, but was then shipped immediately without charge. The unit was easy to install per the included instructions. I bought this unit not knowing if it would heat my 19 x 21 kitchen, but to my surprise I have not had to turn the unit any higher than 4 and that was on a -20 day . So my wife is well pleased with me.
