Easy to install, well made. Mini Splits are the way to go. Mitsubishi is the king of the hill, in SEER, reliable, features and function, each generation gets better and better. The high efficient propane furnace, heat pump, coil, and expansion valves make a great package. We got it installed a week ago in Maine and it has been great so far, it has not gotten cold enough to switch to the furnace for heat, so it has only used the heat pump, but it has worked great. It is quiet and is great quality.

My husband and i are old (70 and 60), and we were able to install this thing by ourselves, though it is heavy, and it is difficult to lift it above your head into the attic. We did have an electrician come do the wiring, but, it comes with a cord and a plug, so we were able to connect it to a wall outlet and use it for the couple of weeks it took for the electrician to come. without a switch, it just runs on high, but that's what you're most likely to use in the summer anyway. it's very... more
