While I haven't yet installed the fan, I did unbox it and plug it in. I'm no acoustic engineer, but I could barely hear it operate and that was at the motor end. I'm not sure what 45 dB sounds like or maybe I'm hard of hearing - my wife tells me I'm hard of listening but this thing is quiet and that's with it strung out on the hardwood floor. Ordered this unit Hot Dawg 45000 and it arrived in Days. Easy mounting, had no trouble setting it up. Turned it on and it worked grest, heated up my 14X28 shop in minutes, very quite unit. I will be getting much use out of this product.

I have two of these units. The first one I bought was for my Business to handle Domestic Hot-water (via Heat exchange and snow melt operations) Units has been up and running for 2 years with short run cycles from 7-15 Mins.... The unit is what I ordered, arrived on time slight shipping damage to the metal grill down low on the condenser unit although it didn't hit the coil I will straiten the metal because were I am installing the unit it will not be noticed. Thanks for the great service. Tom
