Bought this mini split for a sun room that was an addition to a Town Home. Installed it myself and had A/C company pressure test and vacuum it. Absolutely quiet and keeps the room at 77 degrees, where before it was over 100 on a sunny day. Could not be happier with the system.

Purchased this HRV to replace our 22-year old Mayaire unit. Didn't realize until the HRV arrived that it must hang for installation. My original unit sat on a table I built for it. So it took quite a while to find the right spot to have good access for straps, and not interfere with existing duct lines for old unit. I actually bought 5 Pensotti Wall Panel Radiators, 3 of the 20" x 24" and two of these 20" X 48" units. They are replacing hot water baseboard heaters in a basement apartment. These heaters are stylish, extremely efficient and are priced very nicely. Installation was a snap using the included hardware, HOWEVER, I highly recommend purchasing an extra set of brackets for the 20" x 48" heater due to its weight. After waiting 26 days to get my Effinity 93 110000 btu unit, I installed it only to find out the propeller fan was very noisy. It is louder than my air compressor. Modine will not honor the warranty unless you use a professional installer. If you are a do it yourselfer, don't buy this unit. The propeller motor is cheap and creates a lot of vibration noise. Even if the motor was replaced under warranty, it would still be the same noisy motor. If you want to be able to talk in the vicinity... more

I replaced my old Modine heater, with a new Modine heater and it works great. The old one, the only thing that went wrong with it, was one of the fan blades broke in half . The old one , didn't owe me nothing, I had it in my shop for 38 years.
