5-star A Great Little Fan Sep 27, 2016

I bought this in-line fan to pump warm air into a chase containing hot and cold water pipes. When outdoor temperatures drop below 15 degrees Fahrenheit, the air in the chase falls below freezing, so I was worried that the pipes would freeze. This little fan together with flex duct (I stripped away the outer insulation) solved the problem. I have a thermostat in the chase and a control system that turns on the fan when the chase temperature drops below 40 degrees F. Now I can spend time... more

OK, first thing to do is to consider the space, (including walls and doors) you are trying to condition. Now there are lot's of installation tips an experienced professional can offer you while going through this process, but common sense and a... more

5-star Great For Bedroom Addition Nov 03, 2016

Our new Mitsubishi makes our bedroom an oasis. This mini-split is ultra quiet and takes the humidity out of the air in short order. My husband (who is a Handy Andy) did all the preliminary installation with no problems, we chose to mount the outside unit on a stand made for mini splits rather than to our cement board siding. A licensed HVAC man came in to do the final vac of the lines to get it fired up, and we could then validate the warranty also. We find setting it at 68 degrees works... more

5-star Too Early To Tell Aug 15, 2016

Hooked up the heater in late June, so no way to tell how it will work when the cold weather arrives. Hook up was easy, except the schematic didn't really tell which of the possible 5-6 spots the two line thermostat was to be hooked. Blew a fuse the first time I turned it on, but the second placing of the thermostat lines worked.
