I have a 25' x 40' insulated garage. My new 60K btu Reznor heater brings the temp. from 50 degrees to 65 degrees in about 25 min. I love it.

Equipment: Impressed with the quality of manufacturing, and the quietness of both outdoor and indoor units. Manuals: 1. Outdoor unit manual was acceptable, but lacked some clarity for installation options. 2. Indoor unit manual was terrible. Instructions to open the unit for installation access were incorrect. After waiting 26 days to get my Effinity 93 110000 btu unit, I installed it only to find out the propeller fan was very noisy. It is louder than my air compressor. Modine will not honor the warranty unless you use a professional installer. If you are a do it yourselfer, don't buy this unit. The propeller motor is cheap and creates a lot of vibration noise. Even if the motor was replaced under warranty, it would still be the same noisy motor. If you want to be able to talk in the vicinity... more

i installed two of these in 2008. had to replace one after 6 years the other after 8 years. the only reason i replaced with Noritz was the supposed ease of replacement with the same heater i.e. all piping was supposed to line up...NOT SO! I had to redo piping which cost me an additional $200 because the piping did not line up with original heater. Also i should have been able to get a longer life with original heaters.
