The unit tends to leak through pinholes which are due to impurity of copper tube material from cheap production country. The oil, a part of Freon makes most plastics parts brittle and replace indoor unit. This situation is a subject of recall, however, the company avoids ruining the company name offering free replacement parts for long period. I have repair three pin holes in one indoor unit. Used this unit with a 12, 18, 9, 9 set up with a 4-way distribution box, it has worked very well with very little noise. There is a very high pitched sound you can hear if you are near it, but it is not very noticeable.

the heater is fantastic so far. no problems whatsoever. only been installed couple of weeks now. cold weather moving in so my 24 x 48 foot, well insulated garage should be toasty through the winter.
