January 2016 our heater went out at our business. We ordered the Modine PDP-150,000 BTU Unit Heater. Other than the shipping was slow - we received this heater a little later than expected in Wisconsin. The heater was installed and is working great as of today, March 2.

Amazing A/C system. Quiet, 30% lower operating cost than a traditional unit, 20% lower cost to purchase. Far superior to the old school monstrosity. Blows my mind that everybody does not use a mini split system. The energy savings (over a traditional unit) will pay for my entire system within ten years! 19+ SEER versus the 13 SEER of the old crud. I need to emphasize quiet operation. We've now had 3 months of use from the boiler and it has performed well, and though the purchase and installation wasn't cheap, it heats our large home well with a hydronic/forced-air system. Lately we have had a problem with the fan racing noisily and exhaust huffing and puffing. My installer is away, so I'm hoping it is a programming issue that I can resolve. A good help phone number for the unit would be nice. Perfect purchase, delivery, etc. by eComfort

Our main house is cooled by a 2.5 ton conventional a/c. I replaced that unit in June with a new American Standard (Trane) a/c. On the back of the house is a Florida room 44' x 12' that was not air conditioned. Three sides of the room are sliding glass doors, circa 1989, overlooking a lake and facing east.
