I actually bought 5 Pensotti Wall Panel Radiators, 3 of the 20" x 24" and two of these 20" X 48" units. They are replacing hot water baseboard heaters in a basement apartment. These heaters are stylish, extremely efficient and are priced very nicely. Installation was a snap using the included hardware, HOWEVER, I highly recommend purchasing an extra set of brackets for the 20" x 48" heater due to its weight. My suggestion is to have a very experienced high efficiency furnace plumber install the unit. From what I now know all aspects of the system need to be in balance to work properly. My unit is exceptional and my wife likes the colored pictures designating the various modes of operation.

The radiators went together very easily with the connections provided to the heating pex and there were no leaks. very easy to bleed. they provide much more heat than I was getting from my old wall convectors and seem to retain the heat a long time after the boiler is off. Not hard to hang either as long as you separate the hanger prongs in increments of 1/2 inch. Also, my wife was pleasantly surprised by the appearance

After waiting 26 days to get my Effinity 93 110000 btu unit, I installed it only to find out the propeller fan was very noisy. It is louder than my air compressor. Modine will not honor the warranty unless you use a professional installer. If you are a do it yourselfer, don't buy this unit. The propeller motor is cheap and creates a lot of vibration noise. Even if the motor was replaced under warranty, it would still be the same noisy motor. If you want to be able to talk in the vicinity... more
