I bought this in-line fan to pump warm air into a chase containing hot and cold water pipes. When outdoor temperatures drop below 15 degrees Fahrenheit, the air in the chase falls below freezing, so I was worried that the pipes would freeze. This little fan together with flex duct (I stripped away the outer insulation) solved the problem. Away from home for the winter. Family checking our home found the problem, needed a new boiler. Easy to install with the caleffi valve and provided brackets. It keeps my daughter's formerly cold ground floor bedroom nice and warm. She no longer needs an electric heater to supplement the old baseboards.
