2-star Modine Noisy Mar 10, 2016

After waiting 26 days to get my Effinity 93 110000 btu unit, I installed it only to find out the propeller fan was very noisy. It is louder than my air compressor. 5-star Seems Good So Far Apr 15, 2016

Replaced existing 37 year old boiler. Old boiler still worked but needed to be moved so time for new. Installed per manual. Everything seems good. The blower motor has minor vibration. Pretty quiet overall. The internal pump curves matched old pump pretty closely, so hookup was nice and clean. Time will tell if it was the right choice.

As a result, you really want to have a backup source of heat in that climate. (I used cheap electric strip heaters) -... more
