I had to order it myself cause prior Top Notch Co. took advantage of me waiting till my warranty ran out to come out and tell me my compressor is shot. So glad I picked out this unit it was the one I wanted in the first place one that is not discontinued it seems like a great unit and my new Installers A&A Air Services Inc. were amazing how they took care of me even put down a new updated tray for my Air Handler to sit on. Can't say enough how professionally it was all installed.

The unit tends to leak through pinholes which are due to impurity of copper tube material from cheap production country. The oil, a part of Freon makes most plastics parts brittle and replace indoor unit. This situation is a subject of recall, however, the company avoids ruining the company name offering free replacement parts for long period. I have repair three pin holes in one indoor unit. We bought this unit to replace a 30 year old unit. We wanted one very similar so installation would be easy and a do it yourself job. I am always leery about on line shopping, but ecomfort made me comfortable with my experience. The unit was exactly what we wanted and installation was fantastic. We had to modify one piece of duct work--which was really nothing. I would shop at ecomfort in the future.

A family member installed a 22k BTU Mitsubishi mini split in his 4 car garage (also purchased from ecomfort), i was so impressed with his unit i had to buy one myself. I bought this unit to heat and cool an 500sq ft 2 car, garage with 14' ceiling in NJ. I insulated the garage and self installed. The installation in my open garage took about 8 hours start to finish, its a little involved but not over the top, a gauge vacuum set from HF made getting the unit up and running easy.
