The wireless thermostat is a nice touch. Works just like a traditional thermostat and is programmable. The indoor unit is 3ft from a tv and 4ft from a fluorescent light. I have not seen any interference. The only negative was a dent on the outdoor unit. It must have happened at the factory as the packaging was in mint condition.
