The heater was ordered on a Friday and I could have gotten it on Wed but I could not have anybody here to receive it till Friday. It arrived on Friday morning just as I finished taking out the old furnace. Checked on higher efficiency rated boilers but could not justify the much higher price. Until you make up the increase in price with the savings in fuel the unit would be 8 - 10 years old. I finally got this installed and working. I like the copper heat exchanger and the compact size. I mounted the first one to concrete walls to avoid vibration above. It took some adjusting to get the louvers to stop vibrating and making noise. It looks like a slick little heater and I expect it will last longer than me. The only down side is the vibration from the fan. I'll have to cut the pipe and put in some vibration dampening. It carries the vibration through the pipes into the hangers... more

My contractor purchased the 151 combi from local warehouse. I just wanted to share experiences for the whole deal of getting this one. I had it installed a few days ago by a local contractor who claimed certified by Bosch. Technicians under supervision by certified plumber were struggling of how they were going to install and had it fired, back and fort with rewiring, and reconnect piping for a few occasions, saying they were difficult to install. Used this unit with a 12, 18, 9, 9 set up with a 4-way distribution box, it has worked very well with very little noise. There is a very high pitched sound you can hear if you are near it, but it is not very noticeable.
