If you have electric baseboard heat and are looking for a premium product this seems to be pretty much the only game in town. It looks about as good as a baseboard heater can do and exudes quality. The thing weighs about ten times a regular heater of similar size so holds heat much better - though ultimately you are buying this for looks not performance. Purchased this HRV to replace our 22-year old Mayaire unit. Didn't realize until the HRV arrived that it must hang for installation. My original unit sat on a table I built for it. So it took quite a while to find the right spot to have good access for straps, and not interfere with existing duct lines for old unit. This is the third Mitsubishi unit I've installed at my house. These units perform quietly, efficiently and hardly cost any $$ to operate. They can be added easily to just about any room in your home. If you have underperforming or just worn out conventional AC systems, this is definitely a system to add to or replace existing AC units. Highly recommended!!
