The unit tends to leak through pinholes which are due to impurity of copper tube material from cheap production country. The oil, a part of Freon makes most plastics parts brittle and replace indoor unit. This situation is a subject of recall, however, the company avoids ruining the company name offering free replacement parts for long period. I have repair three pin holes in one indoor unit. Meaning the venting must be in excellent shape and does not come apart in the walls or the power is a reliable source. This was installed in one of our customer's homes.
