The unit tends to leak through pinholes which are due to impurity of copper tube material from cheap production country. The oil, a part of Freon makes most plastics parts brittle and replace indoor unit. This situation is a subject of recall, however, the company avoids ruining the company name offering free replacement parts for long period. I have repair three pin holes in one indoor unit. Away from home for the winter. Family checking our home found the problem, needed a new boiler. Installed your fan in the vent right above our bedroom. Could not tell when the fan was on! With our solar panels, the 30 watts consumption of the fan is like working for free. Not only that, the upstairs cools off a lot faster. Very worth the extra money spent for a great fan. Thanks.
