I have 2 of the 30,000 btu units and one 75,000 btu unit. I couldn't be happier with their performance and reliability. I went with these over the competition because of the compact design and the quality that they are built with. The Reznor brand may cost more but I have dealt with other heaters that have failed and caused pipes in the garage to freeze. Now I can leave for days at a time without thinking twice about what's going on back at home in sub zero temps.

After waiting 26 days to get my Effinity 93 110000 btu unit, I installed it only to find out the propeller fan was very noisy. It is louder than my air compressor. Modine will not honor the warranty unless you use a professional installer. If you are a do it yourselfer, don't buy this unit. The propeller motor is cheap and creates a lot of vibration noise. Amazing A/C system. Quiet, 30% lower operating cost than a traditional unit, 20% lower cost to purchase. Far superior to the old school monstrosity. Blows my mind that everybody does not use a mini split system. The energy savings (over a traditional unit) will pay for my entire system within ten years! 19+ SEER versus the 13 SEER of the old crud. I need to emphasize quiet operation. Great Small Unit For Detached Structure Jul 28, 2016

This was just installed recently in mild temperatures so I can't comment on how well it can heat and cool my small structure but based on the air temp it should work pretty well. I bought this because it is a newer unit with a slightly higher SEER than the KE series. The other nice thing about Daikin is the temp setting on heat can go down to 50, which is good to keep a room that's not being used from freezing (other units only go as low as 65). Received unit only issue unit would be left in driveway not placed on porch. Family strained and put unit inside house. My only complaint. Unit working great. Cold Air Rocks. It has been a sweat box. Good product and great price. I strongly recommend a/c unit.
