This is a four to five star item, or should be. However, the independent carrier used by eComfort is such a pain to deal with, I have to give it three stars to register my complaints. Despite what the email from eComfort said, the driver worked very hard to get us to accept the product without inspection, and indicated once it was off his truck it was not going back on no matter what damage we might find. The fan came well packaged, and all of the contents were perfect. The fan is perfectly balanced and super quiet with no vibration. I can't hear it running at all in my house when it's running. The quality of the product is also very good. All other available attic fans are noisy and use a lot of power, so it's great to finally be able to purchase a high quality, low noise, and energy-efficient attic fan. I highly recommend it.

I have used these before on a 2nd floor. Really was looking for something to put tile on rather than a mortar base. These are great, east to cut, easy to put down fabric and then tile using unmodified thinset. It's been several years and still looks good, water drains well.
